Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter. Needed only in the following scenario:

1. You want to connect your Soli pillow directly to your smart device with the provided cable AND
2. Your smart device does not have a headphone jack; instead, it has only a lightning connector port (for example, some iPhones and iPads). In essence, this adapter adds the missing headphone jack to your smart device.

* You do not need this adapter if you purchase the Bluetooth module. The Bluetooth module will enable you to connect your Soli pillow to any Bluetooth-capable smart device.
